Lockeport Watercolours, BOOK IIIt was so much fun filling the first sketchbook that I decided to continue right on until the weather forces me to quit. I'm now trying to do double spreads (~5" X 16") whenever possible. The South Shore of Nova Scotia is a very horizontal landscape. Please note that the images run from the most recent to the oldest. PLEASE NOTE: The originals of these paintings are not for sale. They are in my sketchbook and are my source material for new work. However, I would be happy to make an inexpensive copy.
Pleasant Point on a Grey November Day
Pleasant Point again. I keep coming back to this view. It's nearby, it's interesting, but most of all, it allows me to track the changes in the seasons and light. Today, it was all very grey, almost as if I were looking through a fine mist. Very November. |
