STONEI have a thing about rock. Maybe it's because I grew up near Sudbury in the days before landscape rehabilitation. I keep coming back again and again to rocks and stone as a source of imagery. Rock 2
Periodically, I draw pieces based on rocks that I pick up from the beach. I love the textures and patterns of them. Mixed media on board (Acrylic paint, conte, oil pastel, wax), 6 X 6, 2010 Possibly not finished. |
